We take, on average, 23,000 breaths per day. And how many days have we gone without giving any thought whatsoever to breathing? Every breath we take is God saying “yes” to us living in this realm. If you are breathing, God isn’t done with you yet.
But God says “yes” to us through more than our breath. He says it through the blood of Jesus. We’re in the homestretch of the “Blood” series. I absolutely cannot wait to share the message from Hebrews 10:19-22! We’ll be talking about the access to God that’s found through the blood of Jesus. It’s my hope and prayer we’ll understand the incredible privilege and the power of access to God in a whole new light!
Finally, let me give you a preview of what’s ahead beyond Easter. Beginning the weekend of April 27th, we’ll start a new series in which we’ll walk through the book of James together. I’m calling it “According To Jim.” In my estimation James is the most practical book in the entire New Testament. James explores what it looks like when the rubber of faith meets the road of reality.
Yesterday, our staff prayed over the prayers walls many of you wrote on this past weekend. You’ll have another chance to add more names this coming weekend. In the meantime, keep your eyes and hearts open to what God is doing around you this week and join Him in it.
Grace and Peace,
See You This Weekend,
