Australia is moving. This isn't so surprising — all the continents are on the move, and Australia drifts 70 millimeters to the northeast every year. But that journey is now starting to mess with systems that rely on pinpoint accuracy, specifically GPS. Australian GPS was last updated in 1994, and the entire country has moved a little more than five feet since then. This is presenting problems for driverless tractors and shipping drones throughout Australia.
Much of our current technology relies on accurate GPS coordinates. If the coordinates don’t reflect where the land, roads, and lanes really are, it can lead to trouble.
Everything on earth changes, including the continents. God’s love doesn’t. Nor does His will as revealed in Scripture. Rest in His love, and get to know His will. It’s good to know some things don’t change.
We have two more weeks to go in our “Beyond All Shame” series. Catch up with the last two messages online, and bring someone with you this weekend!
And don’t forget, you can get your weekend started early by joining us for the first service of the weekend on Thursday night at 6:45 at the VR Campus.
Grace and Peace,
See You This Weekend!
