Be Sure To Notify Your Face
It’s said that Martin Luther went through long stretches of despondency. One such stretch had gone on for weeks. His wife appeared in their home one day wearing attire that, in their culture, was fit for a funeral. Luther asked, “Who is dead?”
He responded rather passionately, “He most certainly isn’t.”
She replied, “That’s not what your countenance leads me to believe.”
God’s not dead. Don’t forget to notify your face.
And while you’re at it, will you join me over the next several days? Will you pray for the hearts of those in your sphere of influence, and spread some invitations around asking them to join you at The Branch Church on Easter weekend? Drop a text to some, make a phone call to another, and offer an invitation in person to yet another.
We’re kicking off our “Anti-Fragile Love” series on Easter weekend by considering the original Anti-Fragile person – Jesus!
But first, Palm Sunday is ahead this weekend! Come ready for a journey to the cross. And come early! Our children will be kicking off our services by leading us in worship.
Grace and Peace,
