Bumping Into Reality
“Reality is what you bump into when you are wrong.” (Dallas Willard)
Sometimes we crash into it. What I hope our “Wide-Awake” series will do is actually cut down on the number of “collisions” with reality and, instead, help us to live more intentionally and wisely in light of it. We’ll continue this weekend with the consideration of another fundamental reality of life which Scripture affirms: “It’s Not About You.” What does “it” refer to? You’ll have to be with us this Thursday night or Sunday!
It’s no secret that in recent years, The Branch has ramped up its offering of a variety of recovery and support groups. Recently, we’ve launched a new support group called “Breaking the Cycle.” This is a group for women who’ve experienced physical or emotional abuse in relationships. If you would like more information about this group, please contact Janice Ingram.
Finally, parents, don’t forget to familiarize yourself with the abundance of Next Gen ministry’s summer opportunities for kids, from the youngest through high school, where they can connect with others and continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Opportunities abound, and summer’s around the corner!
See you Thursday night or Sunday!
