We’re diving back into Game Changer this weekend and I can’t wait! We’ll be exploring how Jesus changed the game when He associated God with love. Until He came along, no one thought of “the gods” in such way. Even more than that, how He lived and what He did because of love has forever changed our world. Come and bring family and friends in tow! This will be another great opportunity for us to become more deeply informed in our faith, and to be equipped to put in a good word for Jesus to others.
If you missed last weekend’s New Year’s word about our time being a limited resource and how realizing it can liberate us, I hope you’ll take some time to watch or listen online this week.
What A Finish!
Speaking of last weekend’s message, I took a few moments in it to share the great news. Our year-end dollar-for-dollar matching effort to become debt free finished strong. You gave $845,841.51! When you add in the match of $800,000 from our donor that brings the total to $1,645,841.51! Our debt in September was $1,995,000. This year-end effort enables us to reduce the debt to around $350,000! This is truly extraordinary. We’re not far away from being debt-free with two great campuses to serve as tools in the mission of God. Thank you for your prayerful and sacrificial partnership in this journey.
While the match is concluded, people are continuing to give toward finishing this last little bit of debt remaining. Should you desire to give toward this effort, please note “debt reduction” on the check on online when you give. Thank you!
A Word About Mom
Thank you, again, for all your concern and prayers. I’ve seen God use her in wonderful ways in the lives of others in this difficult season. While the Great Physician is working on her through others, He’s working through her on others – sometimes the very ones who are working on her! The Great Physician is at work in more ways than one. You can stay up to date by going to her Caring Bridge site:
Grace and peace,
See you this weekend!
