Hot Air and Chucky Cheese
First things first. In light of the Super Bowl and all the press about the Patriots and deflated footballs, let it be known that I have never once preached a deflated sermon. They are always full of more than enough hot air.
Have you heard that our very own Branch band has released an album of original songs? It’s titled “Fearless,” and can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Spotify. Believe it or not, you’ve already been singing one on the weekends for a little while! Take a moment and download “Fearless.” I have no doubt you’ll be blessed!
We do it with airline miles, hotel points, gift cards, and Chucky Cheese tickets. We talk about it happening with everyone from athletes to students to politicians. What is it? We’ll explore it this coming weekend as our series “In Christ” continues. If you’ve missed either of the last two messages, I hope you’ll catch up by watching/listening online. And if you haven’t yet, don’t forget to download The Branch App.
This past weekend, we distributed elder recommendation forms. They can also be found online and on our app. Please make our leadership aware of someone who you believe could serve among us in such a capacity. Take some time to prayerfully consider your recommendation in light of the information shared in the form. We are asking for all recommendations to be turned in by February 15th.
Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
Bring your Bible, a friend, and an open heart!
