Security is very important. We are entrusted with over 300 kids every weekend in Kids Branch, and it’s our duty to make sure they are cared for and protected while they are with us. This is a balancing act, as some security measures may seem to contradict our desire for outstanding hospitality. But we have to place the well-being of our kids at the top of our priority list. The following list of policies are meant to provide an environment in Kids Branch that is safe and secure, and one where kids are free to learn, play, and build relationships.
- To participate in any of our gatherings on the weekend, a child must be wearing a name tag. Name tags for kids and corresponding security code tags for parents are printed at one of our welcome stations.
- If there is not a receipt tag, the child will not be released. If the tag is lost, please contact a member of the Kids Branch staff, and they will replace the tag and communicate with the parents.
- All volunteers must wear a name tag during our weekend services. We will also place pictures of that morning’s volunteers outside each classroom door.
- Background checks are run on each of our Team Members. Each class will have at least two Team Members at all times.
