Looking Up While Looking Around
This past Sunday night, the police got called to the graduation party we were throwing, along with other parents, for Skyler and a few of his fellow graduates. It was good clean fun. It just got a tad bit noisy for the neighborhood, I suppose. In the end, it’s a great story line – the police called to a party a minister was helping to throw. Gotta love it!
Speaking of noisy, it’s not always as quiet in the realm of heaven as some might lead you to believe. Our journey through Revelation brings us to Revelation 4 for our next message this weekend (beginning Thursday night). Don’t be misled though. While a portion of the message considers what John saw in the throne room of the universe, most of it has to do with the gritty realities of life in this realm. We must learn to “look up” before jumping to any conclusions on the basis of what we see when we “look around.”
Spend a little time soaking in Revelation 4 this week, and come ready with a friend in tow!
It’s not too late to catch up in the series in Revelation! You can do so online or through The Branch app.
Finally, parents, if you haven’t taken a moment to see all the NextGen Ministry has in store at The Branch this summer, you must!
