Children's Ministry
“We know who He is, and we know who we are: Father and children.” Romans 8:16
Our Mission:
Treehouse, the children’s ministry of the Branch, is a safe place where love is at the heart of all we do. We invest in our children each week to strengthen their relationship with God. As we instill in our children a love for God’s Word, their roots are being established in Jesus. They will flourish in the generation to which God has called them.
Our Ministries:
Nursery (birth -24 months)
We love babies! The nursery is an environment of peace and love. Our teachers pray over each child that they care for during the service. The children learn to value the importance of the Bible at this early age. In fact, they even hug their Bibles each week.
Sprouts (2-3 years)
Sprouts is for our walkers and talkers. Our teachers take every opportunity to teach these little ones. Through crafts, games, praise and worship, Bible stories and verses the love of God shines through our teachers (His patience too)!
Treehouse Jr. (4 years-Kindergarten)
This age is such an important foundation building time in a child’s life so we take full of advantage of this in Treehouse Jr. Our teachers take time to love on these children and to show them basic truths from the Word of God. It’s here that they begin to develop a relationship with Jesus. Their hearts are open wide to learn new things about God, to sing out loud and, of course, to receive a prize from the “Treasure Box”. These little guys are full of energy and can memorize any Bible verse you throw at them, especially if there are motions.
Treehouse (1st-6th grade)
From the youngest child to the teachers, we all have fun in Treehouse. Treehouse is the time when we come together to dance, sing, listen, and learn new things about our awesome God. We know that we are His children and that makes every service a chance to get to know our Father better. Through praise and worship we break free and celebrate all out. During offering time, we learn how to be generous and how our God wants to take care of our needs. When it’s time to dive into God’s Word, He shows us new things each week about who He is and who we are in Him. What’s really cool is that it’s not just the “old folk’s” who teach but our children too! We get the children involved in teaching the offerings, helping with praise and worship, games… you name it- they can do it! |
