This coming weekend, we’ll be tuned into the “Nick at Nite” channel in John 3. Yes, I know it’s a text from last week’s readings in our Life In The Son reading schedule, but I just couldn’t pass it up.
We’ll cover a lot of territory this weekend – night owls, snakes in commodes, the meaning of “born again” and “born of water and the Spirit.” I’m also going to spend a moment talking about what it means to be born again through Christ. Come with an open and brave heart, your Bible or Life In The Son guide, and a friend in tow! On your way to The Branch this weekend, please offer up a prayer over all of our services. Thank you!
We had some out for the holiday this past weekend. Don’t forget that you can catch up on Life In The Son anytime through our website or app.
Our leadership is seeking the submission of candidates that you believe should be considered to serve as elders. Go to http://www.thebranchchurch.org/elder-recommendations for more information and to participate. Thank you!
Tomorrow the world will hopefully witness a peaceful transition in presidential administrations. Sometime that day, take a few moments and re-read 1 Timothy 2:1-8, and pray for our leaders and our country.
May the greatness of Jesus increase in us and through us to the world around us.
Grace and Peace,
