What do the movie Remember the Titans, the phrases “Black Lives Matter” and “reverse racism,” the prayer of Jesus for followers today (John 17:20-26), and the church in Antioch (Acts 11:19-30) all have in common? These things are all in my message this weekend! Come with an open mind and heart, friends in tow, and your Bible handy.
This past weekend, we began a short series on racial tension, relations, and reconciliation. If you missed this first message, I encourage you to listen or watch online or through The Branch App before this weekend. The sermons in this series are tied together.
Let’s invite some of the people in our network of relationships for August 21 at our Branch campuses. It will be a special Sunday on both of our campuses as we have a time of blessing for teachers, administrators, and coaches in regard to the coming school year, as well as all of our students. It’s also a great opportunity for us to invite friends and family who are involved in the world of education, as well as any families with kids in school.
Finally, our new Thursday night service at 6:45 pm kicks off August 18 at the Vista Ridge Campus! It’ll be the “first service of the weekend” in our weekly offering of worship services at The Branch Church.
Grace and Peace,
See You This Weekend!
