Jesus said "everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." That's what a disciple is - it is some one who listens and obeys. At The Branch Church we consider ourselves "disciples in process." We acknowledge that we are not perfect, but we are committed to becoming more and more like Jesus by growing in our capacity to listen to God and walk in obedience.
The Sermon Based Bible Study is designed to help us listen and obey. It provides questions that help us consider the issues raised by Chris's sermons and to engage with scripture in a way that encourages obedience.
