This weekend in Kids Branch, we are beginning a series of lessons on Jesus and the cross, leading up to Easter. Our first lesson in this series is on the Old Testament prophecies of Jesus' death, and we are leveraging this opportunity to teach our kids about the tools that help us study the Bible. For our 3rd through 6th graders, this means a hands-on overview of how to use a concordance, and online tools like biblegateway.com, and then using those tools to find specific prophecies of Jesus in the Old Testament. So, if you have a child in the 3rd through 6th grade, and they have an itouch or smart phone with WiFi, they can bring it to class this week. And if you have a concordance at home, send it along with them as well. I want our kids to grow up feeling confident that they can navigate the Bible!
Don't forget this Sunday is 1st and Ten. Come ready to give God your first and best.
