As I write, my mom sits on the counter. Well, her ashes do anyway. She’s healed and home with the Lord!
Thank you all for the innumerable ways you have loved, served, and prayed for our family. We have been soaked in support all the way through the journey. Paul spoke of there being “riches of God’s glorious inheritance in his holy people,” (Ephesians 1:18) – meaning there is an inheritance found in the body of Christ. We have been experiencing that inheritance through you. Thank you! If you missed the memorial service for my mom, you can watch it here.
Our series in James – “A Faith That Works” continues this weekend. We’ll be in James 2:14-26. If you’ve missed any part of this series, don’t forget the watch/listen opportunity at the bottom of this page. This weekend, Ryan Rainey will be bringing the message at the VR Campus, and Tim Ketchersid will be doing so at the FB Campus. They have graciously stepped in to serve this weekend in the teaching capacity. Tara and I will be getting away for few days and I’ll be back in action with you next week.
We’ve got a ton of exciting things ahead for us this summer at The Branch! Have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend. May a “faith that works” be on display through all of our lives this weekend.
Grace and Peace,
