The Future Is Now
The future is now.
This means three things to me this week.
First - Revelation 8-11. That’s where we’ll be this weekend. It’s weird, it’s wild, it’s challenging. The future is now. Come having read it. And if you’re gone this weekend for Memorial Day, don’t forget our Thursday service tomorrow night at 6:45 pm so you can stay on track in Revelation with me. Homemade burgers at 6:00 pm!
Second - For the last several months, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of conversations with our staff and elders regarding some next steps into the future for The Branch. This coming September will be ten years since we became one church in two locations. It’s been a learning curve, no doubt. Along the way, we’ve grown wider in our capacity to reach more people and deeper in our faith. I’m looking forward to our next steps and we’ll be working through the summer to get in a position to talk more with you in early September. Will you be praying for me in the meantime as I seek to do my part in this process? The future is now.
Third - Our Branch interns arrive this week to partner with our NextGen department to pour into the lives of our children and students this summer. It’s going to be a great summer for our kids and students. If you have one or more in your home, do what you can to encourage their engagement. The future is now.
See You Soon!
