We celebrated His resurrection this past weekend with the greatest number of people that have ever joined us for Easter in our 113-year history. Thanks to all of you who served in many different ways throughout the weekend to make it special for so many!
But it’s because He rose from the tomb that we take seriously everything He said before He went into it.
This coming weekend (beginning with our Thursday service at VR), we dive into a new series: “Wide-Awake.” It’s easy to fall asleep to some realities of life. And when this happens we tend to drift. This series will be reflecting on six fundamental realities of life according to Scripture. Ignoring them or falling asleep to them can eventually bring about some rude awakenings in our lives.
Living in light of them, though, can actually help us to make the most of each day to the glory of God and for the good of others, including ourselves.
Invite someone to discover that Easter is a way of life, and not just a day. Bring ‘em with you as we kick off “Wide-Awake” this weekend!
Grace and Peace,
See You Thursday or Sunday!
