Some things just aren’t worth it. I told a story on myself this past weekend about a time when I was fooled into spending a great amount of money (that I didn’t have), and got into debt for something that was worthless. We do the same thing in a lot of different areas of our lives. We live in day and age where the price tags are being switched on everything. Things that are truly of value or even priceless? We’re tempted to treat as cheap and disposable. Things that are cheap, empty, or in some cases even destructive? We’re tempted to pursue at all cost and to trade precious things to obtain.
Last weekend, I kicked off our new series #worthit. If you missed this opening message, please take some time to watch/listen this week. This coming weekend, we’ll center our hearts on why Jesus is a friend worth having and sharing with others. Read Luke 5:27-32, and come with an open heart and a friend in tow!
Grace and Peace,
See You This Weekend!
